Leadership Development & Management
We have been involved in many leadership development projects over the years. In the last ten years we have focused on two areas:
- Leadership in high stress environments, and
- Leadership and complexity.
The nature of these areas is such that we have tended to combine a research focus with the consultancy using both social constructionist and complexity theory. What this means in practice is that we work with clients to help them notice what is going on in the world around them and how to respond to emergence or ambiguous information.
- So we help leaders to operate under conditions of uncertainly. This is through understanding their own approaches to these situations (where there are no right answers) and developing a values and competence base to manage with others.
- We undertake to develop co-created teams that can move with situations as they change as well as influence patterns of change.
