MSc Professional Development (Applied Neuroscience in Organisations)
Phase 2 is delivered and supported by PDF and assessed by PDF. It consists of
- A 40 credit Leaning Journey in which PDF will support students in becoming increasingly engaged with peer reviewed neuroscience literature. Students will have online access to resources through Athens to support them in undertaking an in depth study and reflection on specific areas relevant to their work.
- A 20 Research Proposal for a work-based project as currently. PDF will deliver online research training, through a series of Webinair transmissions recorded an available as a resource. The series includes an overview of Research design. a detailed look at the purposes of research, the perspectives which influence research methods, and the research process. This is supported through online access to Athens and Sage Research On line.
A 60 credit Work-Based Research Project in which students are supported by PDF Academic Advisors and colleagues in an appropriate Learning set, in developing and implementing a research project based on their completed proposals. Work is assessed through a written project report, reflective essay and oral presentation. Upon completion of the programme, students are awarded a Master of Science Professional Development (Neuroscience of Leadership) from Middlesex University (www.mdx.ac.uk)
