### Who Should Use the Form TP-584?

### When Do You File the Form TP-584?

You should file Form TP-584 no later than the 15th day after the delivery of the deed or another instrument effecting the conveyance.

### What Are the Penalties For Not Filing the Form TP-584?

Penalties for not filing the Form TP-584 and, therefore, not satisfying your tax liability, are 10% of the amount of tax due and an interest penalty of 2% for each month of delay. However, the accumulated interest penalty won’t exceed 25%.

### Where Do I File the Form TP-584?

You should file Form TP-584 with the recording officer of the county where the real property being conveyed is located. This can be done either in person, by mail, or electronically.
